B2 Avionics Mechanic

Role Description

We are recruiting a full-time B2 Avionics Mechanic to join our growing team at our Sywell Aerodrome, Northampton headquarters. The hub of our heavy maintenance operations, our Sywell base supports a varied fleet of VIP and Air Ambulance aircraft consisting AW109 and AW169 variants at the base and across local line stations.


Main duties and responsibilities:

  • Carry out routine, unscheduled and modification aircraft maintenance tasks
  • Carry out line and AOG maintenance activities and defect rectification
  • Champion safety and quality across the department

Qualifications

  • Applicants will need to have experience in either rotary or fixed-wing avionics
  • Applicants will need to prove recognised apprenticeship or training scheme
  • Applicants will need a full UK driving licence

Benefits

  • Competitive salary of £36,000 - £45,000 (dependent on experience)
  • Overtime available
  • Monday to Friday 0830-1700
  • 20 days leave plus eight bank holidays
  • Three days of additional leave at Christmas
