Technical Records Administrator

We are looking to recruit a Technical Records Administrator in a challenging, fast-paced and rewarding environment. The ideal candidate will be capable of working methodically, independently and to an exceptionally high standard to ensure that all aircraft type related continuous airworthiness activities are carried out on time and to an approved standard.

As the Technical Records Administrator, you will provide technical services support to the Part M CAMO in ensuring the continued airworthiness of the managed aircraft.

Duties and responsibilities

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Ensuring all required maintenance has been performed and in compliance with regulatory and company policies
  • Administration of Technical Log Sector Record Page including quality control, data entry, and the review/correction of total aircraft hours and landings.
  • Maintain and review technical records, technical library and provide email notifications as required to the relevant persons
  • Perform initial recording of AD/SB/STC’s/Sil’s etc. in support of the procedures defined and Ensuring compliance of ADs and SBs and accuracy of records management system
  • Entering and maintaining records of all aircraft airworthiness docs, including: Log Book Entries and work order files in the airframe, engine, component and AD/SB/Modification record log books and ensuring the maintenance tracking tool is up to date
  • Audit all Sector Record Pages (SRPs), Work Packs, Engineering Documentation and any further documentation denoting maintenance carried out on aircraft or flight operations SRP management and update into relevant control documents
  • Check, correct and archive documentation in the correct location and in the correct format in line with local procedures through hard and soft copy storage
  • Construction and updates of aircraft/equipment databases
  • Construction and issue of work orders for maintenance to be carried out, inclusive but not exclusive of Scheduled Maintenance, Airworthiness Directives, Service Bulletins, Minimum Equipment List (MEL) items and component replacement items
  • Monthly review of the organisations regulatory, airworthiness and maintenance data for currency
  • Monitor airworthiness status of aircraft and components/life limited parts of managed aircraft
  • Issue clear work orders to the maintenance organisation
  • Oversight of scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, defect rectification and post maintenance follow up including work pack review and log book updates
  • Support with aircraft entry in to service and exit from service tasks
  • Carry out monthly reporting tasks

The successful candidate must have:

  • Strongly diligent and detail-oriented with excellent analytical skills
  • IT proficient/ Confident with use of Microsoft Office applications
  • Able to prioritise tasks and work under pressure at times with minimum supervision
  • Professional, operating with a high degree of confidentiality and integrity
  • Positive with a can-do attitude
  • Must be able to work autonomously, multi-task and be highly organised
  • Must have previous data entry experience
  • Flexible in approach and adaptable to change
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English in verbal and in written form

Desirable qualifications:

  • 2-3 years' experience in a similar aviation technical records role with knowledge of Part M (including Subpart G) and Part 145 regulations is ideal, but not essential.

    Successful applicants will be based at our headquarters at Sywell Aerodrome, Northamptonshire, Monday to Friday between 08:30 and 17:00. Applicants must have the right to work and live in the UK at the time of application.
