B1.3 Licensed Engineer

Sloane Helicopters is offering an excellent opportunity for an experienced and motivated B1.3 Licensed Engineer to join our growing Engineering team based at Sywell Aerodrome.

What You’ll Do

  • Perform maintenance, inspections, fault diagnosis and rectification on the helicopters in our care.
  • Certify maintenance tasks within the scope of your licence and company approvals.
  • Ensure all work is completed in accordance with regulatory requirements and company procedures.
  • Complete accurate maintenance and technical records.
  • Work collaboratively with the Engineering team and planning to deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Maintain high standards of safety, quality and housekeeping within the hangar.

What We’re Looking For

  • A motivated, safety-focused Engineer who enjoys working as part of a team and who takes pride in delivering excellent customer service.
  • Essential:
    • UK CAA Part 66 B1.3 Aircraft Maintenance Licence
    • Strong knowledge of rotary wing maintenance practices
    • Excellent troubleshooting and fault finding skills
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
    • Full UK driving licence
    • Right to work in the UK
  • Desirable:
    • AW109/169 type ratings – type rating courses are available
    • Flexible approach to travel and occasional out of hours support
