Sloane Helicopters Celebrates 30 Years as Leonardo’s Sole UK and Ireland Distributor at EBACE 2025
Sloane Helicopters is proud to mark a major milestone at EBACE 2025, celebrating 30 years as the sole Distributor of Leonardo Helicopters in the UK and Ireland. Since the beginning of this partnership in 1995, Sloane has successfully delivered over 113 new helicopters, with further deliveries scheduled over the next two years.
This long-standing collaboration has been built on mutual trust, shared values, and a commitment to excellence. Over the decades, it has played a pivotal role in shaping the civil helicopter market across the region.
To further strengthen this partnership, Sloane is pleased to announce a new order for three AW109 Trekkers, following the recent purchase of five AW109SP aircraft earlier this year. These commitments reflect the continued confidence in the performance and reliability of the AW109 products.
Sloane was also honoured to welcome SaxonAir, a valued customer and experienced operator, to join in the celebration and share their perspective on the successful relationship with both Sloane and Leonardo.
Looking ahead, the partnership is entering an exciting new phase with the addition of the next-generation AW09 to the distribution agreement.
