Sloane Helicopters Ltd. is one of the oldest, and best respected, aviation companies in the UK. On 6th June 2009, we will be celebrating our 40th anniversary/ / the 20th anniversary of the opening of our headquarters at Sywell Aerodrome and the recent completion of our new building extension, which incorporates a new flying school, a new flight training simulator and a new state of the art stores department, together with additional modern offices essential for the continuing expansion of the Company.
One of the most significant investments to be completed in 2009 is the expansion of Sloane’s Sywell Headquarters. The extension was commissioned in order to meet the Company’s planned growth targets, underline its long term commitment to satisfying customer expectations and the achievement of stakeholder value.
Sloane is also seizing on the opportunity presented by the extension to update its Reception area and existing offices in order to provide a modern and contemporary feel. The overall impression that the new building will portray is aimed at strengthening and consolidating the Company’s recently updated Corporate Image.
The second quarter of 2009 sees the introduction of a state of the art Flight Navigation Procedures Trainer. The simulator will extend the Flying School’s capability through the introduction of Instrument Rating courses as well as providing an opportunity to enhance the scope and quality of basic and commercial pilot training.
Sloane has contracted to purchase and introduce the first EMS A109S Grand into UK operation during the latter part of the year. The Company’s success is in part due to its distributorship agreements with Agusta and Robinson and the ability to access a number of early deliveries.
These important developments will help the Company in its pursuit to become and remain the UK’s leading supplier of helicopter sales and services, with an emphasis on unparalleled quality and exceptional Customer care.
