The long awaited Robinson R66, a five-seat turbine helicopter, has achieved FAA certification and is now available for pre-order.
The R66 incorporates many of the design features of its reputable predecessor, the R44, including a two bladed rotor system, T-bar cyclic and an open interior cabin configuration, enhanced by a fifth seat and a large baggage compartment. The newly developed turbine engine, the RR300, will deliver increased overall performance in terms of reserve power, altitude performance and speed. Popular upgrades including HID landing lights, leather seats, and a stereo audio control panel are standard on the R66.
