It boasts a fuel-injected Lycoming engine to deliver incomparable power, speed and altitude performance, impressive payload, and increased speed. All in a compact, comfortable and cost-effective helicopter.
A major advance is the reduced noise level of the Robinson R44 Raven II helicopter. Both sets of redesigned helicopter rotors are fitted with noise attenuating blade tip caps that decrease external and internal noise. The main helicopter rotor blades also have a greater surface area, resulting in more lifting capability at altitude and reduced vibration within the helicopter.
With an enhanced electrical system ensuring reliable starting in both hot and cold weather, the Robinson R44 Raven II helicopter offers a cruising speed of 130mph, and a maximum range of 400 miles.
