Instrument Rating Course (H)
Our state-of-the-art Flight Navigation Procedures Trainer (FNPT II), is a non-motion simulator for training the procedural elements of the Instrument Rating (H) course.
In accordance with JAR FCL2, the Instrument Rating Course (H) consists of a maximum of 40 hours simulator training, and at least 10 hours flight training in an AgustaWestland AW109E Power. Prior to commencing the course, applicants are required to hold an AgustaWestland AW109E Power Type Rating qualification, which if required, Sloane can help provide.
Minimum requirements for applicants attending an Instrument Rating (H) course include, the holding of a PPL (H) with a night qualification, or the holding of a valid CPL (H), applicants must also have passed theoretical knowledge examinations in a number of subjects.
The introduction of the flight training simulator has enabled Sloane to teach procedures in a wide variety of simulated weather conditions and scenarios.
