Helicopter Simulator
In May 2009 Sloane Helicopters introduced a state-of-the-art Flight Navigation Procedures Trainer II. The innovative simulator features three cockpit layouts replicating an Agusta A109E Power, a Bell 206 and a Robinson R44 helicopter. The cockpit configurations provide realistic instrumentation, switches and fuses representative of those in an actual Agusta A109E Power, Bell 206 and Robinson R44 helicopter.
The helicopter flight training simulator has been designed as a non-motion flight training tool for Instrument Rating courses, as well as providing instrument and visual helicopter flight training support towards the completion of the Private Pilot License, Commercial Pilot License and Night Qualification.
The introduction of the flight training simulator has enabled all weather flying, and a varied choice of weather conditions and scenarios.
